Street Fair: Sunday, July 17 |

The annual multi-block street fair sponsored by Project Open at Lincoln Towers, and produced by Clearview Events, will take place on Sunday, July 17th. The event will begin at 10am, though set-up may begin as early as 8am and will conclude by 6pm. The fair will take place on the west side of Broadway between 65th Street and 72nd Street. This stretch of Broadway will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the event.

New Childcare Tax Credits for Business and Property Owners |
|
To help NYC invest in an accessible, equitable, and high-quality childcare system, Mayor Adams championed two new tax relief opportunities to increase childcare seats. The first is a new property tax abatement for property owners who retrofit space to accommodate childcare centers. Property owners who create a childcare center or increase the number of seats at an existing childcare center may be eligible for a property tax abatement covering up to $225,000 of construction costs. The second opportunity is a new NYC business income tax credit for businesses that provide free or subsidized infant/toddler care for their employees. The NYC Department of Small Business Services will be distributing more information about both opportunities in the coming weeks.
