Guardianship Rounds
Noon - 1:00 PM (EST)

Join the Center for our Guardianship Rounds session, where each month an experienced guardian shares one of their challenging cases for discussion. Family and professional guardians alike are welcome to attend.

This month we welcome founder, owner, and primary service provider at Ethical Solutions LLC, Shannon Butler. Ms. Butler is the only Certified Master Guardian in the state of Minnesota and has more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field.

Shannon will be discussing the "dignity of risk" through a case in which the individual's wishes were to remain in the community, despite health and safety challenges. As the guardian, Shannon had to decide whether his best interest was served by allowing risk, or whether his safety should be the primary focus.
