The AFP Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter is pleased to announce that our scholarship application for membership is now open to both new and returning members of our esteemed chapter. As part of our commitment to supporting your professional development, we are delighted to offer this opportunity for financial assistance.

You will find detailed instructions and the application form, which should be completed with all the necessary information. The application submission deadline is Wednesday, August 9th, so we encourage you to begin the process as soon as possible.
The scholarships are available to current and new members, with preference given to those seeking new membership to AFP. Depending on the funds available, AFPSBV will cover 100% of the cost of an annual AFP membership to new scholarship recipients. Those who previously have received a scholarship and have reapplied will have a portion of the cost covered for their annual AFP membership:
· 75% to those who received a past scholarship
· 50% to those who received two past scholarships
· 25% to those who received three past scholarships
Scholarship Applications will be reviewed and voted on at the September 7th Board meeting. Recipients will be notified shortly afterward.
