Albuquerque Museum stays open late for an evening of music and art. Admission is free.

Join us for an evening of family fun with hands-on activities and performances focusing on the exhibition Facing the Rising Sun: The Journey of African American Homesteaders in New Mexico, Vision, Belief, and Sovereign Ownership.
Doors open at 5 p.m.

5:30–8 p.m. Participate in a collaborative art project inspired by the exhibition Facing the Rising Sun.
6–8 p.m.
  • Music and performances from Rodney Bowe, T.J. Emerick, and others in the Museum Amphitheater
  • Discover Facing the Rising Sun with exhibit creators from Electric Playhouse and the African American Museum and Cultural Center of NM
  • Explore the Museum’s permanent collection with a family-friendly scavenger hunt

6:30 p.m. Do yoga with YogaZo in the Museum’s galleries.

Museum exhibitions are open until 8:30 p.m.
Slate at the Museum will be open. Stop by during your visit to enjoy espresso drinks, salads, soups, sandwiches and sweets.
