Dear Friend and Neighbor,

Following the tremendous success of our first Vision Town Hall meeting at John Jay College this past Wednesday, we are ready to make our next stop in Brooklyn together with BK Borough President Eric Adams. The event will be held at Brooklyn Borough Hall and we will be joined by Brooklyn Council Members as well as Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito. This is another great opportunity for residents to offer their input on Mayor de Blasio's Vision Zero Action Plan to reduce pedestrian deaths and injuries.

As has been widely discussed in recent weeks, traffic safety is a major issue across the five boroughs and Mayor Bill de Blasio is looking to take serious action to address the over 250 deaths that occur annually from traffic crashes.

It will be at 7:00PM at Brooklyn Borough Hall on Adams Street in Brooklyn, accessible by the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, F and R trains.

This is the second of five town halls that the City Council is sponsoring, with one in each borough. As every borough has different needs and concerns, these town halls will be aimed at taking in feedback and translating it into concerns to be officially brought to the respective agencies involved in the Vision Zero plan.

Please feel free to share this flyer and we hope you can make it!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Ydanis Rodriguez
