Hundreds of thousands of dollars go back to the Scouting program in the Evangeline Area Council as a result of the annual popcorn sale. 70% of all dollars collected during the sale support local Scouting. The popcorn sale is a way for a Scout to support his or her way through the various activities during the year. There are three options to sell popcorn: traditional take order sales, sell online to friends and family out of town, and show-n-sell.

Scouting Units can earn up to 34% commission selling popcorn!
Base Commission - 25%
Attend Michael Beck Zoom & Unit Kernel Popcorn Kickoff - 3%
Hold Kickoff (submit photo to office) - 2%
20% Increase ($1 to $4,999) - 4%
15% Increase ($5,000 to $9,999) - 4%
10% Increase ($10,000 +) - 4%
No Prizes (Additional to the 34% for TROOPS ONLY) - 4%
We ask that all Popcorn Kernals and additional unit leaders attend this training to gain information about this year's dates, prizes, and new products. It is critical to attend this training because Show and Sell orders are due August 15, 2022.  We want to help and prepare you to have the best popcorn sale ever.

Don't forget that a Unit Leader or the Popcorn Kernel MUST attend the kickoff and join in on the Micheal Beck Zoom presentation in order to receive an extra 3% commission!
