September 9th is BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY which is the kickoff of our fall season here at First Methodist Conroe. Summer travels for many have come to an end and on this Sunday, we will gather together to celebrate all that God has and is doing among our congregation. This is a great opportunity to invite others to experience what is happening at FMC. Some of the latest research shows: "82 percent of the unchurched are likely to attend church if invited by a trusted friend or relative," while "only 2 percent of church-going people invite someone to church in a given year." Take a moment to tell someone about your church home and give them an invite.

On September 9th, we will begin a new sermon series called Holiness of Heart and Life as I teach on what it means to follow Jesus here at FMC. During the series of 3 messages I will share our approach to discipleship during this next season of our ministry together. Jesus modeled for us a way to live and follow him which leads to transformation of our lives. If you want to know what is next for us as a congregation and where we are going, then be sure to be present as we begin this new series.

See you Sunday!
