Join us for a Farewell Celebration on February 16
Join us on February 16 at 7:30 pm to celebrate The Rev. Canon Dr. Barry Parker’s 23 years of ministry at St. Paul’s Bloor Street.

Though we can’t gather in person, we still want to thank Barry for how much his ministry has blessed us before he retires at the end of February.

*Please note: This is a virtual celebration happening on Zoom.* Registrants will be sent the Zoom link and more details closer to the event date.

Group Spotlight: Winchester Group
Winchester Group Photo Taken In December 2019
Community comes in many forms. Other than our Connect Groups which focus specifically on Bible study, St. Paul's offers other groups that gather for fellowship and a variety of purposes.

Winchester Group

The Winchester Group is an organization of St. Paul’s women which has been in existence, under one name or another, for nearly as long as St. Paul’s itself. The group meets weekly and serves Moorelands Kids, contributing to their “baby bundles” by sewing flannelette receiving blankets and bibs, as well as knitting winter toques, mittens, baby blankets, and baby sweaters with matching caps.

During COVID-19, between thirteen and seventeen women have continued to meet via Zoom for social support, a devotional, and to talk about the ongoing mandate for the group. Finished products were collected by Moorelands Kids from the church in December 2020. We hope to have additional work ready for pickup in May of 2021. To a limited extent, flannelette has been distributed to various homes; more is ready for circulation once the current lockdown is lifted. The knitters continue nonstop! We look forward to meeting again in person.
Try serving on the Creative Arts team!
St. Paul’s is looking for volunteers to operate our audio-visual equipment on Sundays!

The Sight and Sound Project has enhanced the lighting, audio, and video capabilities of the Sanctuary. This has enabled some great improvements for expanding our worship space.

Once it’s all set up; we will need 2-3 volunteers every Sunday to help operate it. No prior experience necessary. We will provide the technical training and support you need. The goal is to have enough volunteers so each person will volunteer about once a month.

If you'd like to serve our church in this exciting way, please contact our Creative Arts Producer, Douglas Romanow at creativearts@stpaulsbloor.org or fill out the form on our website.
