Our Roundtables serve as peer affinity groups, providing a confidential setting for sharing insights, seeking advice, and obtaining mentorship. Join us for this session in the Large Conference Room at the Tompkins Chamber offices. Come hungry, refreshments will be available!


This roundtable is specifically designed for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian individuals. While we encourage support and promotion from allies, participation is reserved for those who share this identity.

Can you believe it’s almost been a year since Asempe Kitchen burst onto the Ithaca scene? What an electrifying, flavor-packed ride it has been! We are absolutely thrilled, and incredibly grateful, for Ithaca's warm embrace of our rich, vibrant West African traditions! So let’s turn up the energy and celebrate together on August 2nd & 3rd! Kick off our Anniversary Weekend with Dinner Under The Stars (5–9 PM Saturday) bursting with bold tastes, handcrafted cocktails, good eats, and Afrobeats. Then join us for our Afrobeats Brunch with an anniversary twist (11 AM–3 PM Sunday) where you can sip, savor, and dance your way into our second year. Bring your friends, bring your appetite—let’s make this milestone unforgettable!

Open to all residents in the 5 county area seeking medical care and looking for volunteers to assist people with checking in.


More about the program: Led by the U.S. Army Reserve, in partnership with the U.S. Air National Guard, and U.S. Naval Ophthalmic Readiness Activity and Southern Tier 8 Regional Board. Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) delivers opportunities for service members to train in a joint environment to enhance military readiness, while building civil-military partnerships and providing key services with lasting benefits to the communities of Broome County.

SouthWorks invites you to its Second Annual Open House on Tuesday, August 12th from 3:00–7:00 PM. The journey to purchase a first home can be overwhelming, but INHS is here to help. Our Homebuyer Education classes are ideal for any potential homebuyer. Look for a one-day, all-day in-person class in Ithaca on Aug. 9, or join an online four-week-long class held Tuesday evenings in September.
