Location
Camp Allegheny is located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands in Somerset County. The camp offers a wide range of program areas, including sport fields, climbing walls, basketball and volleyball court, miniature golf, trail rides, challenge course, game room, crafts, campfires, and a program center.

Eligibility
Camp Frog is open to children and teens between the ages of 8 and 17 (having completed 3rd grade but not yet graduated high school) who have a primary diagnosis of epilepsy/seizure disorder. The EAWCP strives to make a camping experience available to all children with epilepsy; however, campers must meet all basic eligibility criteria. This includes but is not limited to independent self care skills such as toileting, bathing, communicating, feeding skills, etc. as well as the skills needed to function independently within an inclusionary setting.
Staff
Medical staff will be available on-site during the entire weekend of camp to supervise medication administration and any seizure-related medical care required by our campers. Counselors will also be in the cabins and fully trained to provide seizure recognition and first aid, build confidence, and provide guidance to campers in a fun-filled atmosphere.

Session Fees: $80 for one camper or $120 for camper + sibling
Price includes a mandatory insurance fee. For 2022, campers attending a weekend session may invite a sibling to join them. Financial Assistance is available through the Steve “Froggy” Morris/G. Peter Rockwell Endowment Fund. Partial and full scholarships are available for payment of camp fees. This scholarship application is automatically included in the full registration packet which you will receive after pre-registering your child for camp.
