Join us for Christmas Eve Mass

4 p.m. at Graham Chapel

(Washington University Danforth Campus)

Please arrive early, and out of respect to all, please do not "save" seats. Once the Chapel is full, there will be no further admissions due to fire code and safety restrictions. To accommodate overflow after the chapel is full, guests will be directed to a room nearby where the Mass will be live-streamed.

Christmas Eve Mass Live Stream

At the Catholic Student Center, we announce Jesus’ coming by the joy in our hearts and the radical hospitality that is our hallmark. Our vision is that every person who comes to the CSC will feel known, loved, and cared for. We make sure there’s room at the inn for everyone.

All of this is made possible by you and by all of us as a community. Many choose to make meaningful gifts to the Catholic Student Center at Christmas time. We know many worthy groups request your support at this time of year, and we are extremely grateful for your generosity, particularly as we prepare to celebrate Christmas. As the year comes to a close, we hope you will consider making one more gift to the CSC. Your support will ensure we can continue to provide formation and be a community of hospitality to our students.

Many Blessings for your Christmas Season. Let’s announce the coming of the Lord!

The Power of Love

It's common these days for couples expecting babies to host gender-reveal parties that announce that the baby is a boy or a girl. In the same way, at Christmas God revealed God's self to the world, and what God revealed in the birth of the infant Jesus was the power of self-emptying, self-giving love.

- Fr. Gary Braun, Homily from Dec. 17, 2023

And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Luke 2:13-14
