Dear Grace, 

We take the words of Jesus Christ seriously. And Jesus said, “Let the little kiddos come to me — yes, including all the delightful sounds they make! — for the kingdom of God belongs to them.” I hope you’ll join us in welcoming our dayschool students and families this Sunday in our 11am worship service as we celebrate God’s work through Grace Weekday School. 

Following the Holy Spirit’s direction, we founded the school in 2017 for child-centered ministry with families of the Heights and beyond. Over the last near-decade, we’ve impacted 1,268 students whose parents entrusted us with their care and education. Today 81 children are growing in grace as our team of 14 teachers daily share the tangible love of Jesus Christ.  

Recently our congregational leadership recommitted to listening for how the Spirit is leading us to grow this ministry through prayerful discernment and faithful sustainability all thanks to God’s future-oriented hope.  It’s an exciting time to be among you and witness God’s work within you. I’m grateful to be your pastor and labor alongside you.  

And I love to hear what campus sounds like each day as the song reverberates — And are we yet alive?  We surely are, thanks be to God!
