Sibling in Christ,,
What if the resurrection is not just something we celebrate today—but something that can actually change how you live tomorrow?
Alleluia, Christ is risen!
This week, we arrive at the end of the journey we began on Ash Wednesday—and yet, in truth, this is not the end at all. It is the beginning.
After walking through the shouts of Palm Sunday, we traverse forth into the intimacy of the upper room, the sorrow of the cross, and the silence of the tomb. At the Easter Vigil and Easter morning, we come to an empty grave. And the message is as stunning now as it was then:
Christ is not here. Christ is risen.
Which means death does not get the last word.
Sin does not get the last word.
Fear, grief, uncertainty—none of these get the last word.
Jesus does.
And His word is life.
Easter is not just a beautiful story or a once-a-year celebration. It is the foundation of everything we believe and everything we hope for. The resurrection of Jesus is God’s declaration that nothing—nothing—can separate you from God’s love.
It means your past does not define you.
It means your struggles are not the end of your story.
It means even in the face of aging, illness, or loss, there is a future that is secure in Christ.
Because He lives—you live.
And that changes everything.
It changes how we face tomorrow.
It changes how we carry our burdens.
It changes how we love one another.
The resurrection is not just something to believe—it is something to live.
And here’s the beautiful truth: we don’t live it alone.
What we experience this week—and especially Sunday morning—is something we share together. We are a resurrection people. A community shaped not by fear, but by hope. Not by scarcity, but by abundance. Not by death, but by life.
So, we rejoice! We sing! We celebrate!
But also—we carry this good news with us.
Into our homes.
Into our relationships and community.
Into a world that desperately needs hope.
Because Easter is not just a day.
It is a new reality. The reality of God’s kingdom.
Christ is risen. Christ is risen indeed. Alleluia!
And because He is risen—there is more ahead than behind.
Yours In Christ,
Pr. Will
P.S. Where in your life do you need the hope of the resurrection right now—and who is one person you could share that hope with this week?
