Make a trip to the mountains this fall! - Fall Craft Week is our quest at Montreat to bring people together in the embrace of these beautiful mountains as a community of artists, working with our hands with natural materials, led by skilled leaders, offering plenty of time in well-equipped studios. If you are already established as an artist or just want to try something new, then this is the conference for you!

CLASS OFFERINGS - There are a variety of class offerings to choose from! Classes are filling up quickly, but here are a few that still have space available: Jumpstart Writing, led by Ina Hughs. Explore creative memoir and personal narrative writing using daily prompts. Jewelry Metalsmithing, led by Deb Guess. Focus on the skills and techniques required for basic metalsmithing. A Few Little Scraps..., led by Leslie McCarthy. Learn to use fabric in new and creative ways through various sewing projects. Fun with Photography, led by Joye Ardyn Durham. Learn about camera function and various photography techniques. Working with Wood, led by Rodney Bramer and Jeff McCarthy. Cut, sand, glue, and paint a wooden birdhouse, a nativity, and a doorknocker. Colored Pencil Drawing, led by Stephanie Sipp. Create a nature journal as you render local flowers with colored pencils. Baskets from Nature, led by Pat Brown. Traditional basket making with an avant-garde, modern feel!

Worship and Fellowship - In addition to daily class sessions, we have several additional activities planned. Evening fellowship options include a campfire under the stars, an open mic coffee house, and a silent auction. Daily vespers will be led by Tom Ott, and sunrise yoga by Sarah Peters.
