SEPTEMBER:
Thursday, September 20, 5-8pm: Bamboo Baby - Bring a friend or two and have fun blending essential oils for Baby, Kids and Moms!  They'll provide all of the "recipes" and ingredients for common health and well-being roller balls. These will include teething relief, tummy, sleep, and mood boosters for Babies and Kids as well as Lactation support and Mood boosters for Moms and Moms-to-be! While blending, enjoy a glass of wine or a mock-tail, girl talk and shopping for yourself and littles! Hand massages offered, too! Each roller ball made is $6 (normal retail $10). Saturday, September 29, 2-6pm: Come ride with the Mississippi River Distilling Company at the CODY ROADEO! They'll have whiskey, delicious cocktails, a mechanical bull, old westerns on the big screen in the distillery, music, and fun. Get your picture with Buffalo Bill and have a blast overlooking the Mississippi River. They'll release their special seasonal "Stone Fence" apple cider whiskey. There will be a truckload of pumpkins and gourds. Other vendors include kettle corn and a wide variety of unique craft and gift items including Matilda Jane clothing, garden art, honey/honeycomb, and bath bombs. The River Valley Optimists Club will have food. There will be a "Kids Only" area for a small fee. Saturday, October 20, 11am, 1pm, 3pm: Riverboat Twilight Sightseeing Cruises. $20 adults, $12 children 14 and under. What better way to see the river than from the deck of an old-fashioned riverboat! Treat yourself to a 1-½ hour sightseeing cruise aboard the Riverboat Twilight. These cruises will depart and return from the Port of LeClaire, IA. Trip includes captivating Captain's narration and commanding views of the river, its wildlife, and quaint river towns. Cash bar and Gift Shop available. Complimentary coffee, tea, lemonade and water are available. There will be no food or snacks available, however, passengers are welcome to bring a sack lunch aboard. Sorry no coolers allowed.
