ST. VINCENT DE PAUL COLLECTION This is the Third Sunday of the Month! Your support makes a tremendous difference! Thank you.
ST VINCENT DE PAUL THANKS YOU A young woman with a challenging physical disability lives independently trying her best to cover all of her own expenses. She works at a business not far from her apartment but the steep hill she needs to navigate makes it impossible for her to get to work without hiring a driver for transportation. The expense to get to work acts as a drain on her budget and she ended up short of rent money. Realizing she needed help, she called the St Vincent de Paul Helpline (206-767-6449). Thanks to your help, we were able to give some relief to her financial burden. Information, Jo Ann Wiesner, 206-291-4012 or wiesnerjo@gmail.com.

THE WAY OF THE CROSS is a wonderful Lenten tradition in the Church. There are two opportunities to pray the Stations each week: on Mondays following 12:10pm Mass, and Fridays following the 8:00am Mass. The Cathedral Stations of the Cross are the work of Joan Brand-Landkamer, inspired by 20th-century French artist Georges Rouault.
JOURNEY OF THE ELECT Lent is a time of intensive prayer for our Elect, who are preparing for Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 8 at 8:30pm. Please pray for those to be baptized: Celeste Axelson ▪ Dave Duche ▪ Kate Fay ▪ Olivia Hall ▪ Sherri Pimentel ▪ Aster Starr ▪ Jacob Hughes. Visit the Place of Prayer near the Shrine of the Blessed Virgin Mary to read the special intentions of each one of our Elect, and pray for them in a special way during this season of Lent.
CHRISM MASS On Thursday, March 30, at 7:00pm, you are invited to join Archbishop Etienne and the priests of the Archdiocese of Seattle for the annual Chrism Mass, during which oils are blessed for use in the celebration of the sacraments at the Easter Vigil and throughout the coming year. TEEN, YOUNG ADULT AND ADULT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FAITH FRIENDS MINISTRY Faith Friends is a unique blend of our Faith Mentor, children’s faith formation program, and an inclusion ministry. The ministry's goal is to give children and teens ages 7- 18 with physical, cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities access to the parish community, social events, and faith formation. Perhaps the most unique aspect of the Faith Friends program is the Faith Peer program. Faith Peers are teens and young adults who have chosen to live out their discipleship and share some of their personal time in dedication and service to the goals of the program. Information, Jennifer Wong, 206-619-0816, faithfriends@stjames-cathedral.org, or www.faithfriendsstjames.org.
YOUTH ALTAR SERVERS Children who have received their First Holy Communion can participate in the Mass in a special way as altar servers. Altar servers add dignity to the liturgy and assist the priest during Mass. Altar serving is a great way for kids to get to know the Mass better, and participate actively in their faith along with other young people. The time commitment is flexible, and there are openings at all Masses. All training is provided! Information, Corinna Laughlin, claughlin@stjames-cathedral.org.
