Join us for our November First Friday Opening Reception! Meet the artists, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, and explore new exhibitions featuring talented local and regional artists. Celebrate an evening of art, creativity, and community!

Enjoy a Pop-up Exhibit by Maryland Coastal Bays featuring artwork created by participants during the recent Plein Air painting event at Assateague Island. The exhibit also includes paintings by artist Rebecca Morgan, who led the class, and offers a chance to appreciate the coastal environment through the eyes of local artists.

Plus, meet Art League instructors Cindy Strouse and Carol Rydel to learn about their creative work and discover opportunities to explore your artistic talents through classes and workshops.

Sandy Strachan Buchanan

Sandy Strachan Buchanan is known for carefully composed, realistic oil paintings that capture the beauty and detail of her subjects.

SISSON GALLERIA:

Everyday Heroes - Group Exhibition

Showcasing work by local and regional artists celebrating the everyday people who make an extraordinary difference in our communities, including veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and educators.

The exhibit will also feature a book signing with author Jackie Kurtz, who will be signing copies of her book, Kindness Heroes.

STUDIO E:

Rhonda Ford

An artist whose landscape paintings capture the interplay of light and shadow in nature. Inspired by scenes she encounters while driving, she seeks out moments of light that bring a landscape to life, painting both outdoors and in her studio.

SCHWAB SPOTLIGHT GALLERY:

Color & Shape: Jack Knight

Showcasing an artist who has explored free-form, marble-like surfaces since 1972. Based in southern Delaware, he experiments with color, form, and shape to create distinctive, contemporary compositions.

FELBER ARTISAN SHOWCASE:

Debbi Dean

A self-taught artist who experiments with metal, plaster, painted surfaces, and textured mixed media to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind works of art.

Mason D'Aleo

Mason D'Aleo is a painter based in Savannah, Georgia, and Ocean City, Maryland, whose acrylic and oil paintings celebrate the beauty, patterns, and harmony of the natural world. A 2026 SCAD Painting graduate, she has exhibited regionally, completed an artist residency at the Art League of Ocean City, and will participate in international residencies in Greece and Italy this year.

COFFEE BEANERY (94st St.)

Kathy Denk

Local Ocean City artist whose work celebrates the beauty of coastal life through paintings of shorebirds, marine life, and seaside landscapes. Best known for her musical talents and striking murals, Denk brings the same creativity and warmth to her fine art, capturing the spirit of the Eastern Shore with colorful, inviting compositions.
