Feminessence

The celebration of women and creativity continues in the Schwab Spotlight Gallery with an interactive weaving installation. Visitors are invited to add a thread as a symbol of connection and support. One in every eight threads is different, representing the 1 in 8 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Sisters Deb Rolig and Dee Gray team up for a special show and sale of handcrafted jewelry. Inspired by vintage colors and themes, their distinctive pieces bring another dimension of creativity to this month's Feminessence celebration.

Mason D'Aleo

Mason D'Aleo is a painter based in Savannah, Georgia, and Ocean City, Maryland, whose acrylic and oil paintings celebrate the beauty, patterns, and harmony of the natural world. A 2026 SCAD Painting graduate, she has exhibited regionally, completed an artist residency at the Art League of Ocean City, and will participate in international residencies in Greece and Italy this year.

Kathy Denk

Local Ocean City artist whose work celebrates the beauty of coastal life through paintings of shorebirds, marine life, and seaside landscapes. Best known for her musical talents and striking murals, Denk brings the same creativity and warmth to her fine art, capturing the spirit of the Eastern Shore with colorful, inviting compositions.
