Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to invite you once again to attend our annual Lower School and Upper School Parent Nights. These events allow families to meet their children's teachers and become more familiar with their children's day-to-day schedule.
- At least one parent/guardian per family is asked to attend. Please do not bring any students.
- Parking will be tight for these events, so you may have to park in the neighborhood if the lot becomes full.
- This event is not a Parent-Teacher conference. If a follow-up conversation is needed with a particular teacher, please email the teacher directly.
- The main entrance will open at 6:15 p.m.
- Please see specific evening details below.
Lower School Parent Night - Tuesday, August 25, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.:
- Parents will have a chance to meet their children's teachers, learn about important matters pertaining to school life, and how to best support their children in their studies.
- From 6:15-6:30 p.m., parents will check in and receive a folder of information about their children including test scores (if your child took state tests here in the spring). Then parents will gather in the Commons to hear from Mr. Alvarado.
- After some announcements from Mr. Alvarado, parents will visit their child’s homeroom.
- In the event that families have more than one child in the Lower School, there will be two rotations so that parents can hear from two different homeroom teachers.
- The evening ends at 7:30 p.m. for families with only one child in the Lower School and at 8:00 p.m. for families that want to visit two classes.
- Several information tables will be available where families can learn more about the Parent Service Association, Exceptional Student Services, and M.A.P.S. classes.
-
Please email Mr. Alvarado with any questions.
Upper School Parent Night - Thursday, August 27, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.:
- Parents will have a chance to meet their children's teachers, learn about important matters pertaining to school life, and how to best support their children in their courses.
- From 6:15-6:30 p.m., parents will check in and receive a folder of information about their children including daily schedules and test scores (if your child took state tests here in the spring). Then parents will gather in the Commons to begin the event.
- From 6:45-8:00 p.m., parents will walk their children’s schedules. If parents have more than one Upper School child, they may split time between their children's schedules.
-
Please email Mr. LaBadie with any questions.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
