This year, we have two different offerings for lifesaving classes:
  1. Junior lifesaving, which offers an introduction to lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid for 12- to 14-year-olds; and
  2. Regular lifesaving, which will provide Red Cross certification for those age 15 and older who may be interested in employment as lifeguards.

Junior lifesaving March 14 and 15
Junior lifesaving is an overview of the regular lifesaving classes. Participants will NOT receive certification through junior lifesaving, but they will get a good grasp of the skills and knowledge needed for the regular lifesaving classes.

  • Sessions will be held Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm at the YWCA. (Participants must attend both sessions.)
