Lakeside Grounds
Those who are honorably discharged, retired from, or are currently serving in any branch of the military , will be granted a free one-day Daily Chautauqua Pass and Auto Pass to Lakeside upon presenting credentials and/or military ID at the gates. Retired military will also receive a free one-day Daily Chautauqua Pass for one guest, while active military will receive free one-day Daily Chautauqua Passes for their immediate family. Passes are valid from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. and do not include an overnight visit.
The Rev. Olu Brown

The Rev. Olu Brown will preach at the 10:30 a.m. Hoover Community Worship Service on Sunday, Aug. 11. His sermon, titled "Abundant Life," is based on John 10:10.
This week's lecture series themes are The Bill of Rights (Aug. 12-13) and The Appalachian Trail (Aug. 14-15). Supported by the Lefelar Family Endowment.

The concert opens with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s famous Symphony No. 25 in G minor and continues with Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez , featuring guitarist Colin Davin . Shuffleboard Courts
There is no entry fee. Sign up at the courts opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes promptly at 9 a.m. Tournament play begins shortly after entries close.

Join fellow Lakesiders in celebrating the closing of the 56 th season of the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra. Lakeside is partnering with Education Opportunities Tours to take you on a nine-day European adventure to see the “Oberammergau Passion Play” with fellow Lakesiders from Sept. 21-29, 2020. Visit our website for more information.
All Lakesiders are invited to take part in Light Up Lakeside at 10 p.m. from Friday, Aug. 9-Friday, Aug. 16. The event is a combined effort of Lakesiders to celebrate the summer by showcasing the entire community in lights.

Looking Ahead: Weeks 10 & 11
Tuesday, Aug. 20-Thursday, Aug. 22
Join Sigma Pro photographer David FitzSimmons for a three-day photo workshop along the beautiful south shore of Lake Erie, exploring everything from landscapes and macro to wildflowers and wildlife. The workshop features both classroom seminars and hands-on field sessions that will explore local flora and fauna.
Saturday, Aug. 24
More than 85 dealers will display antiques in Wo-Ho-Mis Lodge, South Auditorium, Wesley Lodge and outdoors. Antique items for sale include china, glassware, furniture, quilts, fine and costume jewelry, ladies’ accessories, kitchen supplies, sports memorabilia, books, postcards, area souvenirs, linens, vintage clothing, dolls, sterling and more.
