You’ll also hear updates during the Member Meeting, including from inspirational guest speakers, and toast the evening with your favorite New York State beverage.

2025 Erie Canalway Calendars Available

Enjoy the canal all year long with the 2025 Erie Canalway calendar. Pick up a free copy at selected libraries and visitor centers while supplies last. The calendar features winning images from this year’s Erie Canalway photo contest and commemorates the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal in 2025. Calendars are available on a first-come, first-served basis, thanks to generous support from the NYS Canal Corporation and the National Park Service.

New Member Introduction: Ruston Ropac from New York Family

Please welcome Ruston Ropac, Sales Assistant for New York Family, to the NYSTIA community! As a sales assistant, Ruston works closely with sales representatives Lauren Alperin and Erin Brof, supporting them in connecting businesses with prime advertising opportunities across New York Family’s magazines, website, emails, and social media platforms. Ruston is a talented soprano opera singer, composer, and voice teacher, and she also enjoys diving into medieval reenactments, reading, writing, and playing tabletop and video games.
