Hello Aggies! We hope you had a wonderful spring break! Now let's dive in to spring quarter and talk about all the delicious food and fun events we have planned for you all.

March 7-April 17 Lent accommodations. Student Housing and Dining Services will provide options for students observing Lent in all of our dining commons and at our retail dining locations.

Sci-Fi Theme Meal

Join us on Wednesday, April 9 from 5-9 pm at the 3 DCs for a theme meal that is out of this world. We'll have delicious dishes from around the galaxy, including War of the Worlds Gazpacho, The Hitchhiker's Guide to Tater Tots, Mars Attacks! Pesto Pasta, Palpatine's Order 66 Pizza, Battlestar Red Curry Beef, Interstellar Samosa, May the Chocolate Chip Brownies Be With You and more!

The DCs will be closed from 4-5 pm to prepare for the event. We hope to see you there!

Get Your Ticket to Aggie Gala

Join us on Friday, April 25 from 9 pm - 12 am for this year's Aggie Gala! The theme is Cirque Soiree and will be a circus-themed dance party. You are permitted to bring a guest with you. When planning your outfit and footwear, keep in mind it's an outdoor event on grass.

Purchase your ticket early starting April 7! To purchase your ticket, go to a residential market or Sage Street Market | Cafe. Make sure you redeem your receipt at any residence hall ASD, The Green or Orchard Park, sign the event waiver and receive your wristband. Your wristband is your ticket to the event so make sure you bring it with you!

Aggie Day Crowd Warning

Aggie Day is coming up on Saturday, April 5. It's an exciting day, but also a busy one! We are expecting increased traffic at all campus dining locations. To avoid long lines and wait times, please be aware of popular dining times, such as 12 pm - 1 pm at the dining commons. You should also expect parking lots to be full.

To make the day as seamless for you as possible, plan ahead for visiting the dining commons and where to park.

UC Davis Vegan Chef Challenge

Passover Meals and Events

We're doing a Vegan Chef Challenge with The Gunrock, Spokes, Latitude Market and Scrubs all featuring vegan dishes for April. The Gunrock will be serving Carrot Shawarma, Spokes will be serving a Mediterranean Tofu Toastie and Scrubs will be serving a Tiki Aloo Burger. The best dish will be determined by how many of each dish are sold and Instagram votes. So go try these tasty dishes and then head to our Instagram @ucdavisdiningservices to vote!

We've got delicious meals for you to enjoy this Passover and some events put on by the wonderful Hillel House for you to join.
