Join us for Charting the Course: A Scout and Navy Experience — a unique, action-packed day designed for youth ages 12–18. This exclusive event brings Scouts together with active-duty Navy sailors for a high-energy experience that blends hands-on challenges, inspiring conversations, and serious fun.

Hear real-life stories from Navy sailors about leadership and resilience
Build confidence, character, and connections that last
Explore exciting possibilities for your future — in Scouting and beyond

Important Note:

All participants must complete the Scouting America Swimmer’s Test at the Swimmer level before participating in any water-based activities. The test can be completed in advance by a certified lifeguard or taken onsite before aquatic events begin.

Ready to shape your future? Join us for the Build Character Program—a one-hour, monthly interactive session designed to equip young people with essential life skills and leadership tools. Held on the last Monday of each month via Microsoft Teams, each session dives into practical topics like Time Management, Money Management, Landing Your First Job, Workplace Success, and Self-Expression.

Open to Explorers, Venturers, and Scouts aged 14 and up, this program empowers participants to grow in confidence, develop real-world skills, and prepare for meaningful careers—not just jobs.

This year’s theme is STEM-powered excitement, where Cub Scouts will enjoy activities like swimming, cooking, games, woodworking, crafts, Rain Gutter Regatta, and more—all while earning elective belt loops for their new Den.

Spring Break with Purpose: Explorer Class #4 Steps Up

While others took it easy over spring break, Explorer Class #4 rose to the challenge. These remarkable youth dedicated 40 hours to intense training, transforming from white t-shirt recruits into official members of Explorer Post 19. From learning the ins and outs of city government to tackling tough physical drills at the Pasadena Police Department, they chose growth, service, and leadership over rest and relaxation. Their discipline and drive are truly inspiring — congratulations to our newest explorers!

Join us on May 24th, for this female-only training will help you overcome some of the challenges that may be preventing you from enjoying the outdoors such as: how to navigate going to the bathroom, menstrual cycles, how to adhere to Leave No Trace principles, what to expect on the trail and which gear to include and what you should leave behind.
