Welcome Back to Lakeside, Girl Named Tom
Girl Named Tom – the talented sibling trio of Bekah, Joshua and Caleb Liechty – is widely known for their distinct harmonies, beautiful arrangements and heartfelt performances that sing to the heart. In December 2021, nearly 7 million viewers watched as Girl Named Tom was crowned the Season 21 champions of NBC’s “The Voice,” where they made history as the first-ever group to win the popular singing competition. Tickets are still available!
Parking is limited on the Lakeside grounds. Please park in the South Gate Lot off Route 163 and the grass area around the Lakeside Schoolhouse. Shuttle service is available. Parking at the Hotel Lakeside and Fountain Inn is reserved for hotel guests only.  
The doors to Hoover Auditorium will open at 6:30 p.m. Queue lines will start to form at 5 p.m. outside Hoover Auditorium (115 W. Third St.) along Third Street and Walnut Avenue. ADA access to Hoover Auditorium will begin at 6:15 p.m.
Please present your concert ticket (physical ticket, mobile or printed ticket) upon entering Hoover Auditorium. Seats are general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All members of your party must be present before seating.

This Weekend in Lakeside
Orchestra Hall is open on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the fall for movies. On Sept. 9 & 10, Lakeside will feature the film “E.T.”  Suggested donation for admission. (PG 1h 55m)
The Rhein Center, on the corner of Walnut Avenue and Sixth Street, offers an Open Studio every Saturday. All ages are invited to decorate a wooden or paper maché item with paint, markers or stickers.
Join Jerry Popiel for a relaxing afternoon of the great hits of the 1970s through today. He performs regularly as an acoustic guitarist and vocalist, and sometimes with his backing band, Osage Orange.
Connect with members of the Lakeside Chautauqua staff at the hospitality tent to learn about what's happening this weekend. Enjoy refreshments provided by local merchants and meet new friends.

Gather your family and friends, grab your favorite food and join us to rack your brain with fun facts, laughter and more. All topics will regard music. Compete for prizes and bragging rights.
Led by the Rev. Karen Graham and organized by the Lakeside United Methodist Church, this service offers a vibrant style of worship using inspirational songs and motivational words.
Join members of the Doctoral Music Program at Bowling Green State University for a special concert along the waterfront on Sunday, Sept. 11. The program features works by both classical and contemporary composers, including Bach, Britten, Summer and more. Admission to the concert is free, and donations are graciously accepted to support BGSU’s doctoral students.
Girl Named Tom/Weekend Hotel Deal
Book a weekend escape to Lakeside! Rooms are available along the waterfront at historic Hotel Lakeside or at our family-friendly Fountain Inn, both located a short walking distance from Hoover Auditorium. Standard rooms start at $149 +tax for one night and $249 +tax for two nights on Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10.

Rhein Center Classes | Saturday, Sept. 10
Learn to crochet a simple potholder or trivet with Rhein Center instructor Darla Gaiser. This is a the perfect class for beginners or for someone who hasn’t picked up a crochet hook for quite some time. Cost is $8. Limited space available. Register now!
Choose to create a pennant banner or table runner. Decorative fabrics, including some holiday themed designs, are available. All projects are precut. Class led by Stephanie Thompson. Cost is $12. Register now!
Upcycle a pair of comfy, old jeans into a fun and useful pillow. Learn to patchwork the denim and the back of the pillow with a flannel shirt or wool. Class is led by Darla Gaiser. Cost is $15. Register now!
Make two unique fused glass ornaments, pendants or magnets with instructor Kate Imbery. No previous experience required. Items can be picked up the next day after firing in the kiln. Cost $20. Register now!
