ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Benjamin A. Keating, CFA, Vice President and Portfolio Advisor for Wellington Management, works closely with the firm’s portfolio managers, macroanalysts, and asset-allocation strategists. Ben is responsible for articulating the firm’s investment strategies to clients and prospects. Within the portfolio advisor group, he covers a variety of strategies and asset classes, spanning domestic and international equities as well as fixed income. Ben represents the firm’s global investment capabilities and advises clients, prospects, and consultants on global-
investing issues.
Prior to joining Wellington Management Company in 2012, Ben was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Strategist for Hartford Investment Management Company (2005–2012). Ben was also Director of Investment Strategy for Capital Advisors Group in Newton, MA where he oversaw the fixed-income investment process for more than $5 billion in institutional assets under management (2002-2005). He also served as Senior Global Bond Analyst/Trader at Standish Mellon Asset Management in Boston, MA (1993-2001). Ben earned his B.S. in Finance from Siena College (1993) and his MBA from Boston University (1998). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
