Changing our Urgent Care Hours to Meet Your Needs
Since opening in 2020, CHA Urgent Care has become an important resource for people across our region. In order to continue providing you with great care, we are changing our hours.

Starting October 4, 2021, (pending reopening of the CHA Somerville Campus), we will be open from 9 AM - 8 PM. Then, starting November 7, 2021 on weekends and holidays, we will be open 10 AM - 5 PM.

This will let us dedicate more staff to seeing patients at time of peak demand - in the late morning and early afternoon when most people come in for Urgent Care services.

MyCHArt Just Got Better
You’ve always been able to use MyCHArt to connect with CHA, and now there’s more you can do. Thanks to a recent system upgrade, we’ve improved some important system features. Here’s a guide outlining these key changes.

Need Contraception?
If you’re getting contraception in Massachusetts, it should be free. The law says you can get a year’s supply of birth control packs at one time with insurance coverage. CHA pharmacies are here to help you get the protection you need for as long as you need. Contact your primary care clinic to speak with a CHA Sexual and Reproductive Health educator to learn more about contraception options or ask your primary care provider for more information.
We’re #1!

You know how important inclusivity and community are to CHA because you experience it every time you get care with us. The Lown Institute, a national think tank advocating for just and caring health systems, also knows. They identified CHA as #1 in Massachusetts for both Health Equity and Community Benefit; to the top 100 list nationally for Inclusivity and Health Equity; and gave us an A grade for Avoiding Overuse, Community Benefit, Health Equity and Cost Efficiency!
Improving Care for CHA COVID-19 Patients

Nothing stays the same during a pandemic, but some things can improve. While COVID-19 has impacted healthcare across the country, CHA had a plan. Leaning on our integrated care model, CHA developed a new strategy to care for COVID patients outside of the hospital including rapid support for patients in emotional distress.
