It's an exciting time at HPL!

Dear Hoboken,

We invite you to join us in on Saturday for our Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Party in the Park. The party starts at 11 am, and continues until 2. As always, our goal is to create a sense of connection among all residents of our community.

As part of our collaboration with the Mustard Seed School, we are holding a a two-day afterschool S.T.E.A.M. program in the Children’s Room on the 3rd Floor of the Main Library. If you’ve not seen the renovated 3rd Floor, it’s worth a visit. Our new space is welcoming and a sight to see.

And finally, we thank Mayor Bhalla and the City Council for their just-announced commitment to dedicate nearly 9,500 square feet of community space in the 1500 Clinton St. development to an uptown library branch. We will be the community anchor for this rapidly developing and growing part of Hoboken. There are exciting times ahead!

Regards,

Jennie Pu

Library Director
