Say "Yes!" to the 2025 Leadership Event, April 5!

Women of the ELCA is holding the 2025 Leadership Event, Saturday, April 5 from 12:00-4:00 pm CST. Join us as we focus on the servant leader’s response and question, “Yes! what’s next?” A very special team of servant leaders, Liz Yardy Gaskins, The Rev. Dr. Patricia Curtis Davenport, and the Rev. Marta Poling Schmitt will thread their personal stories and journeys in leading you as a servant leader in exploring “Who am I and what is my calling?” and “Mission Possible: If you decide to accept it!”

Each presentation will be followed by small group sessions and time with the presenters to dig deeper. Invite your friends. Why not be bold and host a watch party? See you there!

Register for the Zoom meeting here and receive an email with a digital tool box.

May 2025 devotional, "Spiritual gifts in the life of the church" in Gather

As we begin to dig into Scripture and talk about our spiritual gifts, it’s important to remind ourselves that these gifts are given to us by Someone who knows us intimately. A spiritual gift is nothing we can ever earn, and usually not something we’d think to ask for, yet a gift that is exactly right for us, our lives, our communities and our world.

The May devotional also includes a spiritual gifts assessment to help you identify your spiritual gifts and ways you can serve in your congregation and community. Learn more.

A resource for the 50 days of Easter

In Luke 20:36, we are called “children of the resurrection.” What does this mean? Is it a reference to a future event, the resurrection of our spiritual selves? Or might it have implications for our lives and the lives of others here and now? Consider how resurrection might appear in our everyday lives here and now with this multi-session program. Download the resource, "Resurrection: a holy discipline."
