Neeraj Tayal, MDis an Internal Medicine physician at Martha Morehouse who has been a local leader in community gardens and has extensively used OSU Extension Services to create an award winning community garden in Clintonville.
During this month’s Culinary Medicine event, he will discuss soil testing, seed selection, seed starting, container gardening and other aspects for starting one's own garden.
Whether you are a novice or a master gardener- this night has plenty to offer for everyone. Dr. Tayal has incorporated the essence of fresh-grown foods for a healthful diet in the treatment of chronic diseases with the residents he teaches at OSU. Please plan on attending to expand your own gardening knowledge and become aware of local resources.
In addition, we invite you to cook along withRosemary E. Riley, PhD, LD as she utilizes garden-to-table ingredients to create a delicious and healthy Spring Pea Salad.
