Join us for the State of the Region Meeting

We look forward to seeing you at our annual State of the Region Meeting at the Cadence Bank Conference Center on Wednesday, May 3 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. with a coffee hour beginning at 8:30 a.m. We will focus on strong community and school connections, and leaders in our region who are pouring into the next generation.

Speakers of the meeting will represent Alcorn, Benton, Lafayette, Lee, Oktibbeha, and Union counties. Two panels will set the stage with one focusing on girls’ leadership and the other on school and community connection.

AMORY/MONROE DISASTER RELIEF FUND

We are committed to working with the City of Amory, Monroe County, organizations, churches, and other groups providing support to the thousands of people in Amory and Monroe County impacted by this terrible disaster.

Thank you to those who are working to meet the basic needs of those affected. The recovery will be a long and difficult process, but we are committed to supporting our neighbors in Northeast Mississippi.

Through the partnership of the Toyota Wellspring Education Fund and the Frank K. Spain Foundation, site mentors and hosts joined interns to present their semester as a Spain Intern. Through the Spain Internship, students learned more about their career pathway of interest by on-site job experience.

From one of the Spain Interns, Davion Sampson, "moving forward, as I enter college, I plan on majoring in construction management. I will use the knowledge I learned from job shadowing and interning in the field of construction." Davion interned for Flagstar Construction at the South Pontotoc High School job site and helped build new classrooms for students.
