Tuesday, July 21st from 12:00-1:30pm*
Young people are spearheading the Black Lives Matter movement. Students are a force of change. As an anti-racist organization, Student Senate is committed to listening to and amplifying the voices of a diverse student body by elevating the student voice to the Board of Education and district administration.

We recognize the systemic and institutional barriers in our education system and society that uniquely affect the Black community. To help combat systemic racism, we’re partnering with Board of Education member Ali Muldrow in hosting a virtual rally on July 21st where students can express their thoughts and emotions on recent events and any relevant district action; the promotion of black excellence, addressing racial inequity in our schools, and more.

We actively encourage all students to share their unique experiences and opinions on district policies and decisions. Join us in recognizing and amplifying diverse student voices in our district!

*This event has been rescheduled from July 14th to July 21st.
