Celebrating Life and Community

Dear Hoboken,

This month, we are celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service with free Take-and-Make Service Projects at Hoboken Public Library! On Tuesday, January 16, we invite you to visit the Main Library to pick up one of three kits:

  • Crochet a Winter Hat for our friends at St. Matthew Trinity Lunchtime Ministry
  • Write a Greeting Card for senior citizens in Hoboken
  • Make a Community Care Kit for our library community.

Kits will be available from 10:00am on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't forget to drop off your completed project to the Library by January 31!

Please note that the library will be closed on Monday, January 15, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. As always, our online library is open 24/7. In honor of King's legacy, we invite you to browse collections on Hoopla and Kanopy to enjoy eBooks and films that explore and celebrate his remarkable life.

Regards,

Jennie Pu
