Hello VSC,
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and we are asking for your help in supporting our work. Last year, 1,173 survivors of sexual assault received services from VSC, and more than 80 survivors received in-person accompaniment for sexual assault forensic exams in Montgomery County hospitals. We provide all of our services, including therapy, support groups, accompaniment to hospitals and courtrooms, at no cost to survivors, and we can only do this with community support.
Here are some ways you can get involved this month.
Support the local businesses who are holding benefit events for VSC. Spread the word about these events and invite a friend to join you.
