The Rev. Annie Melick is the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton. Rev. Melick has been in vocational ministry since 2000. She has served in Associate Minister roles in women’s ministry, drama, missions, English ministry in a Korean church, and family ministry. She has served in an executive role as Director of Ministries and has served two churches as solo pastor.
Her ministry interests are worship design, faith formation for all ages, leadership, and teaching. Rev. Melick is trained as a Formational Prayer pastoral counselor, Children Worship and Wonder storyteller, and Prepare/Enrich marital and family pastoral counselor.
Rev. Melick is also interested in congregational and pastoral health and is trained as a Healthy Boundaries trainer, Healthy Congregations facilitator, and Conflict Mediator. She served as the Chair of the Commission for Church Professionals in the Presbytery of Scioto Valley.
Rev. Melick is married to Lyle Melick, an IT professional, and they have 5 children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 granddaughter, 2 dogs, 5 grand-dogs and a grand-cat. Annie enjoys reading, swimming, travel, concerts and plays, playing with her dogs, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
