Welcomes New Superintendent Jeffrey Collier
SAGINAW, MICHIGAN –  At a special Board of Education meeting held on Monday, April 13, 2020, Saginaw Intermediate School District hired Au Gres-Sims Superintendent Jeffrey Collier in a 4-1 vote for Superintendent. Mr. Collier officially takes office Wednesday, July 1, 2020 to replace current Superintendent Dr. Kathy Stewart who announced her retirement earlier this year.

With over 20 years of educational experience, Mr. Collier has held multiple positions including Social Studies Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent. In 2020, Mr. Collier was nominated for Michigan Association of Superintendents and Administrators (MASA) Michigan Superintendent of the Year. In 2019, the School Superintendents Association featured him in their National Leaders Matter Campaign as the Superintendent spotlight for the State of Michigan.  Mr. Collier has also earned multiple other awards in areas of academic, partnership, and transformation excellence.
