'Tis the season to be jolly! As another year comes to a close, we look back on all the moments that made 2023 stand out. From the conclusion of our 2022-2023 season, to the exciting start of our 56th season, to the announcement of our partnership with the Wisconsin Union, to a successful fall performance schedule, culminating with two packed shows at Memorial Union, 2023 was a great year. After some much-deserved time away during the holidays, we look forward to being back on the road in January 2024!
Happy Birthday to You! Alumni Spotlight on Don Neuen
“As you know, Singers is a family. And we were the first family,” says founding director Don Neuen about the very first Wisconsin Singers troupe in 1967. Troupe Spotlight on
Nico Daniel
Nico Daniel is a first-year singer/dancer from Spring Green, WI. He is currently a sophomore majoring in Education Policy Studies. In his freshman year, Nico participated in Chorale Choir with the School of Music, and also had the opportunity to see the Wisconsin Singers’ On Campus show. Almost immediately, he fell in love with the precision of the dance moves, the connections on stage, and the pure joy radiating from the audience. From that moment on, he knew he had to audition. While choir had given him the opportunity to perform, it was the spark that comes along with the dancing and high-energy numbers that Wisconsin Singers performs that he missed. This season, Nico is most looking forward to...
