The Focus on Business Lunch, presented by KeyBank, fall series continues on November 19th. Join us to be “in-the-know” about the people, trends, innovations, and developments that are driving our region, in addition to receiving updates from the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, Regional Growth Partnership and Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. The annual election of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Board slate will also take place at this month's event.

Guests of the November 19th Focus on Business Lunch will hear from Adam Levine, Edward Drummond and Florence Scott Libbey President, Director and CEO at Toledo Museum of Art.

Veteran-Owned Small Business Finds Success with Support from the SBDC and SBA

Carl’s Patriot Dumpsters, owned by U.S. Army veteran Carl Newmister, provides reliable waste management solutions for homeowners, contractors, and local businesses — including construction cleanouts, home renovations, yard debris, and small demolition projects. But like many startup business owners, Carl faced challenges in turning his vision into a sustainable operation.

So, Carl reached out to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce for guidance. 

New Member Spotlight: Task Force 20

Supporting Veterans through Fitness, Community and Purpose

​The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Task Force 20, a veteran-founded nonprofit improving the lives of veterans through fitness and community connection. Led by Army veteran Jason Graven and a board representing every branch of the U.S. military, Task Force 20 offers paid-in-full gym memberships and hosts events that build camaraderie and purpose. EPIC Summit

Thank everyone who attended the 2025 EPIC Toledo Leadership Summit! At this year's Summit, over 200 of the Toledo region's young professionals explored the importance of personal development to aid in professional leadership development, getting to the root of what makes a great person behind a great leader.

We had discussions around storytelling and communication, the necessity and power of mentorship, mental health as it relates to the workplace, downtown development updates, and how resilience can make all the difference.
