Greetings from Anabaptist Communicators!

We're looking forward to another Talking Heads LIVE event this coming Friday on video production! I hope you'll take advantage of this opportunity to learn from your fellow Anabaptist communicator Darryl Neustaedter Barg .

I hope to see you online!

ABOUT THE WEBINAR
In this time of pandemic, being able to communicate effectively through video has taken on new importance. Some of us are receiving more requests to create videos for our organizations — at low cost and on short timeframes, no less! In this webinar, which is designed for those who have dabbled in video but don't have formal training, Darryl will share tips, details to tend to, common mistakes and things to avoid at all costs in creating DIY videos. Q&A time will be given as well. Join us to learn and share insights!
Friday, June 19, 12–1:15 p.m. EDT

Please register by 11 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday at this link to get the Zoom access information for the call. There is no charge to participate.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Darryl Neustaedter Barg is director of communications at Mennonite Church Manitoba. He serves Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg as media production coordinator and as an instructor in multi-camera livestream production and live audio production. He is also a freelance audio and video producer and a member of Anabaptist Communicators.

New Anabaptist Communicators Member Portal up and running

Through the new Member Portal on the AC website, members can access:
  • recordings of presentations from past conferences
  • recordings of past Talking Heads LIVE events
  • the AC membership list

Current AC members need to set up a password to access the portal. Diana Voth, AC board vice chair, recently sent out emails to members with a personalized link; the emails came from no-reply@editmysite.com and were titled " Welcome to www.anabaptistcomm.org !" (just in case yours ended up in your spam folder).

We encourage you to set up your password if you haven't already done so! If you have any questions, please contact AnabaptistCommunicators@gmail.com .
Last call for mentoring!

Are you interested in connecting with another Anabaptist communicator across levels of experience as part of a mentor-mentee relationship? Each pair or group can determine the meeting frequency that best fits their schedules. A few of you have expressed interest, but we'd like to offer another chance before getting these set up. Email AnabaptistCommunicators@gmail.com by Friday, June 26, if you'd like to take part in this member benefit as a mentor or mentee.
You are receiving this email because you have connected with Anabaptist Communicators through membership and/or participation in one or more of our events. We don't send a lot of emails and would be glad to stay in touch with you! You can manage your subscription preferences below if needed.
