That is what we witnessed here and around the country this past weekend. People want to be heard and they want solutions to come from it. While protesting communicates a strong message for change, randomly damaging businesses is unacceptable.
One of the things we hear over and over is that people want meaningful work and a good-paying job.
Employers cannot solve every societal problem, but we can help in providing opportunities to significantly improve the quality of life for Delaware’s workers and their families. Albeit
retraining is only one piece of a larger, more complicated puzzle of challenges, it’s a reasonable start.
