Church photo directory update...

We’re excited to begin creating a new church photo directory so we can put names with faces and grow more connected as a community. Over the coming months, we are inviting everyone to have their photo taken or to submit a favorite picture for inclusion.

Sending your own photo:

If you would like to send in your own photo, please send a landscape-oriented (horizontal), already cropped photo to church member Lisa Charles at fccphotodirectory@gmail.com by May 31. We ask that you send only one photo per family.

Having your photo taken:

If you would like to have your photo taken, church member Rich Baber will be in Schultz Hall after the 10:00 a.m. service to do so on the following Sundays: March 22, April 12, May 17.

If you are not able to leave home and need a photo taken, please contact Rich at richbaber@yahoo.com or 860-881-0063 to make an appointment for him to stop by and take one for you.

If you have questions about this process, please contact Nicole Struth at nicole@glastonburyfirst.org.

Ongoing Collections...

For our February food collection, we’re asking for donations for the Horace Bushnell Children’s Food Pantry, including peanut butter and jelly, baby food, flour, sugar and other items. Donation baskets are in the back lobby, the Narthex and Micah Chapel. If you have questions, please contact Susan Lambert at sjlambert22@gmail.com.

We are collecting adult winter gloves and hats for CT Foodshare mobile food pantry clients through the end of February. We have a collection box in the back lobby. If you have questions, please contact Sally Riddell at sally.m.riddell@gmail.com.

Carol’s Closet paper pantry serves those who are struggling, and supplies are needed – especially toilet paper (four-packs or individually wrapped rolls), paper towels (individually wrapped rolls), tissues, bar soap (individually wrapped or two-pack) and shampoo (standard size). Please place items in the Carol’s Closet box in the back lobby of the church. Contact Judi Barber with questions at jjbarber0623@gmail.com or 860-836-5374.
