Our Host for the Launch of HERO's Nationwide Tour
PEMPEOPLE ( People Empowering People ) is a Peckham-based social enterprise that aims to build capacity for local residents; to create favourable conditions for locals to develop their ideas and bring those to life; to foster a deeper understanding of the arts so as to showcase the wealth of talent that exists in communities. Projects include Southwark Untold 2.0, a week of performances, screenings, and workshops at Tate Modern; and the Livesey Exchange project that aims to transform underground garages into workshops and skills centres for local people.
Nicholas Okwulu is the founder and visionary behind Pempeople . We could not be more excited to kick off the HERO Nationwide Tour with him, and the amazing community in Peckham!
