Promoting Equity Through Inclusive Civic Engagement

When LBJ's Kerner Commission warned in 1968 of a deepening racial divide in the U.S., a speaker at one of their hearings recalled similar efforts in prior decades: "it's kind of Alice in Wonderland-with the same moving picture re-shown over and over again, the same analysis, the same recommendation, the same inaction." Fifty years later, community by community, we are starting to see progress. Please join us in this important work.
