Join us tomorrow for the weekly Advocacy Committee Meeting. We have a packed schedule for the meeting (May 6, 9:30 AM).
Wrapping up the session: There are only three days left in the session, and most of the work is taking place on the House Floor and the Senate Floor. Jeanette and Rich will give updates on the status of CCA priority bills, mostly those listed as Strongly Support. This will include health care bills, housing bills, transportation bills, and tax bills. They will also give an overview on the process for the rest of the week and the process for the governor to sign the bills.
Discussion of Summer and Fall Meetings: Similar to last year, we are planning to hold Advisory Committee Meetings on the second and fourth Mondays beginning June 10 and ending December 9. Please be prepared to discuss suggestions for these meetings.
