Your Community Brief from Jones High School
Monday, August 14, 2017
We are so excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year!
We'd like to give you a brief overview of what to expect the first week of school. All students should be on campus by 7:00 a.m. to ensure they have enough time to eat breakfast before the bell rings. If your child does not have a copy of their schedule, a staff member will be happy to direct them to their first period class. Every student will get a new copy of their schedule in first period.
Our Guidance Counselors are working overtime to ensure every student is placed correctly. Please complete this
to request any schedule changes.
Note: students must be signed in to their OCPS student email or they will get an error message that the form is restricted.
Requests will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. If a schedule change is made, your student will be notified by Guidance. You can also view changes on
. Students should not go to the Guidance office unless they are called by their Counselor.
- Any student who is staying after school for any reason must report to the cafeteria at 1:35 pm. This includes students waiting for a ride home.
