SCRIP PROGRAM
THANK SCRIPING DAY BONUSES!
It is almost time for Thank Scriping Day Bonuses! This bonus day will run on 9.17.20 12:00am ET through 9.18.20 2:59am ET (Eastern Standard Times). If you are using the app, you can get a sneak peak on 9.16.20 of what bonuses are available - so be sure to check the app! These bonuses will apply to electronic and reloadable gift cards.
If you have not heard, SCRIP now has an official app! It is called RaiseRight Fundraising and you can find it for free in your app store. If you have been using MYSCRIPWALLET, your login/password remains the same and everything transfers over automatically. Switch over now as they will discontinue their support of MYSCRIPWALLET.
If you have not been using our online option for SCRIP, please check out the RaiseRight Fundraising app. You will need to link your bank account for the presto pay option which allows you to immediately get egift cards and reload gift cards you may already have by directly paying from your account. If you prefer to use a credit card (which we are no longer accepting at school), you can use it in the app, but there is an additional 3% charge to cover fees. If you prefer to pay for your purchase with cash or a check, you can still use the app to order cards, but will need to come in to pay before the cards are released to you (whether physical gift cards or egift/reload cards).
We also have the option to send your purchased gift cards home with your student. Please complete the Pick-Up Waiver form (copies in the Business Office). This is a form we need yearly if you prefer your cards to be sent home with your student.
We will continue to carry physical gift cards onsite in the Business Office. If you are using an old form, please be aware that there may be some substantial changes as some businesses have closed or their cards are no longer carried by the SCRIP center. This does not affect our local businesses as we get our cards directly from them. We do our best to keep the most current form in the office and on the website. It has recently been updated so be sure to use the latest and greatest!
Lastly, we have SCRIP Agreement forms that we would like to have completed for families participating. It makes sure that we have the most correct information on where your rebates go, whether it be to yourself, all to Jordan, or if you are directing your rebate to another Jordan family.
We thank you for your continued support of the SCRIP Program. In this time of uncertainty it really is our strongest asset to fund raise for our school. It runs all year long and anyone can participate at any time. If you are not familiar with this program, it is a fundraiser where you can purchase gift cards for the things you need and places you like to shop. The cards carry a rebate that we track and once a year (in July) those rebates are paid out. This year we had a family receive a check for over $400! The program was able to give just over $5,700 to the school this year and we are hoping that we can make that number grow!
