I was recently sent an article from Crisis magazine entitled, "No Church for Young Men." One of the results of this study was that if parents talk about the faith, then their children will grow up and most likely practice that beautiful gift of faith. If the family is not practicing or talking about the faith life, (particularly, the study recounted, the father) then the children are less likely to practice the gift of their faith in Jesus as Savior. I think this article draws attention to something very important. We have a wonderful Catholic School supported by our parishes of St. Ambrose, St. Pius, St. Mary & Sacred Heart. We support Jordan Catholic School because we want all of our students to grow in their relationship with Jesus and His Church. The Church teaches that parents are the primary teachers of their children and Jordan Catholic School wants to help you as parents in this essential role. As we just finished Catholic Schools Week, I helped the students to understand that JCS exists to help our young people to become holy young men and women, all while using their brains. Thank you for your investment in the gift of Catholic education as you practice the faith by praying together as a family, going to Mass together and attempting to live the life of holiness that Jesus calls us to. Attached is the link to the article:  https://www.crisismagazine.com/2020/no-church-for-young-men
