Reminder: Cars are not allowed in the school parking lot during drop-off and pick-up of your student. Cars have been driving through the cross walk or turning into the staff/school parking lot to drop off their children at the School/Gymnasium Doors. This is not acceptable. The safety of your students is our utmost concern.

Parents, we have a large amount of items in our lost and found. On February 12-14 they will be placed on tables for you to look at by the offices. Please take what belongs to your household. After the 14th the remaining clothes will be given away to the less fortunate or our Jaguar shop for resale. So stop and take a look when you attend the Valentine Parties or when you pick up your children from school. Thank you.
Yearbook Order Forms for the 2019-2020 Yearbook will be coming home on Tuesday February 18th.

The following students competed in the MathCounts Chapter Competition on Saturday, February 1, 2020 to represent our school.
7th graders: Andrew Amacher, Dagen Henzen, Landon May, Ashlyn Sullivan, and Tyler Wilden
8th graders: Ben Milner, Isaac Smith, and AJ Vazquez.

The students who represented our school as a team were:  Andrew Amacher, Ben Milner, Ashlyn Sullivan, and AJ Vazquez. 

Our team won 3rd place and two of our students made the top ten, individually. Ben Milner won 3rd place and AJ Vazquez won 7th place overall. Ben Milner qualified for the State Competition!! Make sure you congratulate our winners! They did an awesome job!

The Rock Island Library offered a Winter Reading Challenge fro Jan. 6- Feb. 7th.
Students were asked to read 375 minutes. The following students completed the challenge:
Grace Clevenger, Naomi King, Emma Kramer, Emily Lathrop, Landon May, Yesenia Ochoa, Cannden Spicer-Bailey, Tyler Wilden, and Samuel Ziegler.

The students were awarded buttons and a free book. CONGRATULATIONS and thank you to the Rock Island Library for offering this challenge.
