Thank you for your contributions to our Community Care Pack Collection and Grade-Level Themed Baskets! Deadline for these collections is January 24.
Community : Students will gather your Community Care Pack donations on January 27th and create care packs for those in need.

Basket Raffle: Home and School is busy preparing for our annual Basket Raffle. This family event will have games for the students, food and fun for all. The committee sent home a flyer last week letting you know grade level themes. These baskets always turn out to be fantastic!

Box Tops for Education is moving to a SCAN only process. You may still clip the old ones, but all new labels must be scanned from your receipt. Our faithful Box Top families have drastically reduced their involvement in this program.

DENTAL AND VISION FORMS
Dental and Vision are due each spring. If you still need to make appointments, please do so now. Return hard copy forms to the school or have offices FAX to: 309-793-7361. Forms can be found on our website and are needed for the following grade levels:
Dental: Kindergarten, Grades Two and Six
Vision: Kindergarten

RECONCILIATION MEETING FOR 2ND GRADE PARENTS OF FOUR PARISHES
There will be a First Reconciliation Parent Meeting for all 2nd grade parents who are members of St. Pius X, Sacred Heart Rock Island, St. Mary's Rock Island and St. Ambrose. Alleman High School is offering 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students from AHS feeder schools the opportunity to join their Junie B. Jones cast on stage and perform a few songs with them. HOME AND SCHOOL - BASKET RAFFLE
The Basket Raffle/Carnival is Saturday, February 1st.
This year each family is asked to contribute $10 to their student's grade level basket by donating either Cash, Scrip Gift Card, or Purchased Merchandise. A flyer went home last week. The due date to turn in all donations is January 24th. Please help the Basket Raffle committee by getting your donation in early. More news will be coming home regarding dinner options and pre-sale Basket Raffle Tickets.

HOME AND SCHOOL - BOOK FAIR
Our annual Catholic Schools Week Book Fair is right around the corner. Volunteers assigned to this event are coming from PreK-K-1st grade. You received an email with a link to sign up to volunteer. If you have some free time to help us out, please complete the Sign-Up Genius as soon as possible-we could really use the help!
This year students will be able to bring money to purchase books during the school day (on their assigned shopping day/time slot). A flyer went home with all students explaining the CSW Book Fair. There are also after school shopping times so that you may visit the Book Fair with your child(ren).

Alpha begins Monday January 20th at 6:00pm in McCarthy Hall. Alpha helps individuals explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
