2019 Rock Island Labor Day Parade

J ordan Catholic School won “Best Float” from the Rock Island Labor Day Parade Advisory Board. Mayor Mike Thoms presented the award during the city council meeting Oct. 14.

Thank you AnnMarie Amacher for chairing this event and for all 6th/7th grade parents assigned to volunteer this event!

Order forms will be coming home this week and are due to the office by Friday, October 25th Payment is due with the completed order forms. (Make checks payable to Jordan Catholic School.) Boo Grams will be delivered to the classrooms on Wednesday, October 30th. Proceeds will be used to help the Girl Scouts meet their troop goals of helping the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and going to the National Convention.

Home and School thanks all parents who joined us for our October Home and School Meeting. Had a great time - great food - and GREAT conversation. Lots of good ideas and suggestions floating around the tables. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the November meeting!
Congratulations to the 2019-2020 7th and 8th Grade Booster Boys Football Team for a great season!

The team finished the season with a overall record of 7-1 record and a conference record of 6-1 giving them a 2nd place finish in the Heartland Conference.
